Zeta Beta Tau (ZBT, brothers of whom come another time nicknamed Zebes) occurs as non-unsectarian national fraternity. Originally created as a Jewish fraternity (at the period of its origination, Jews were non allowed to join virtually all more fraternities), Zeta Beta Tau has been non-unsectarian since 1954. It has nonindulgent & unique there are no-hazing policies. Created within 1989, these policies eliminated the so universal pledge period with the technique in which newly members come initiated inside 72 hours of their accepting the bid & that everthing brothers come reviewed semi-annually by their peers for how else swell it uphold the standards of a "quality brother".

ZBT boasts occasionally 130,000 brothers, & ZBT Chapters & Colonies come established at concluded Fourscore campus locations.
